Husband of Therese (Cazeault) Cournoyer and the late Dorothy (Lindsey) Cournoyer.
He was born in Woonsocket, RI. Son of the late Edouard & Robertine (Vekeman) Cournoyer.
He was a steeplejack out of Framingham MA for many years, belonging to the Local Union Council 35.
Resident of Nasonville for the last 20 years previously living in Woonsocket.
A WWII Navy Veteran commissioned on the USS Dogfish out of New London Connecticut.
Survivors include, daughters Debra & husband Ed Renaud of Nasonville and Charlene Belisle of Woonsocket,
step children Steve Wlliams of Nasonville, Michael Forcier of Woonsocket, Matthew Forcier of SC, and Brenda Beaulieu of Woonsocket,
5 grandchildren, sister Berthe & husband Marcel Girard of Charlestown. He was preceded in death by brother Gustave Cournoyer
A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday at 11am in St. Theresa’s Church Dion Dr. Nasonville.
Burial in St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham MA. will be held privately.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Keene-Brown Funeral Home 445 Greenville Rd. N. Smithfield.
