NORTH SMITHFIELD – Mrs. Anna Joann (Oliveira) Lefebvre, 69, of First Ave., Woonsocket, died peacefully Jan. 26, 2010 at the St. Antoine Residence surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of 48 years to Roger Lefebvre Born July 4, 1940 in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Anna (Durand) Oliveira. She was a lifelong city resident. Anna worked for her parent’s restaurants, the former ElToro on Main St., and the former Beacon in No. Smithfield. She also worked for The Friendly Home in Woonsocket for 18 years before retiring in 2005. Anna was a member of the Portuguese Society of Rhode Island. Besides her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Lesa Brehio of Lincoln, Tina Lefebvre and Dawn Rubino both of No. Providence; a sister, Judith Oliveira of Woonsocket; four grandchildren, Ryan and Samantha Brehio, Jared and Justin Rubino; a sister-in-law Georgette Oliveira of No. Smithfield. She was the sister of the late Roger Oliveira. Her funeral will be held on Friday at 9:00 am from the Egidio DiPardo and Sons Funeral Home, 75 Harris Ave., Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Sacred Heart Church, Second Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Blackstone. In lieu of flowers, donation in her memory can be made to St. Antoine Residence, 10 Rhodes Ave., No. Smithfield, RI 02896.
