Edgar Prewitt, 77, resident of Mapleville passed away January 25, 2010, peacefully at home surrounded by family. Loving husband of the late Setsuko (Maruya) Prewitt.
Born in Williamsburg KY, a son of the late Lloyd & Annie (Creekmore) Prewitt.
Edgar was an Air Force veteran serving 22 years until retirement. A veteran of the Korean War, he was also a member of the Amori-ken Masonic Lodge in Misawa, Japan.
He is survived by his son James Prewitt and his wife Dawn of Mapleville, daughter Wanda Prewitt of Alpharetta GA, grandchildren, Rachel and Hannah Prewitt of Mapleville and Matthew Prewitt of Alpharetta GA.
Funeral Services and burial in Acotes Hill Cemetery in Chepachet were held privately. Arrangements are entrusted to the Brown Funeral Home in Oakland.
