Rita M. Sitko, 82, resident of No. Syracuse NY formerly of Mapleville, passed away at her residence on Feb. 3, 2010.

Loving wife of the late Matthew Sitko.
She was born in Oakland RI, a daughter of the late Joseph & Regina (Godin) DeRoy.

Rita was a mender for the former Jacquart Mending Company.

She is survived by her son, Richard Sitko and wife Betty of N. Syracuse NY, a daughter Carol Morin and husband Robert of Bath, NH, and a granddaughter, Melissa Smith of Mattydale, NY; two sisters, Doris Ledoux of California and Pauline DeRoy of Oakland.

Funeral will be held Monday at 9am from the Brown Funeral Home 1496 Victory hwy. Oakland with a Mass of Christian burial at 10am in Our Lady of Good Help Church in Mapleville. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Pascoag. Calling hours are Sunday from 5-7pm.
