Shigeko H. Velez 78, resident of Pascoag formerly of WA, passed away Feb. 9, 2010 at Overlook Nursing Home.
Wife of the late Raymond Z. Velez.
Born in Tokyo Japan, a daughter of the late Kiyushi & Masako (Yori****a) Hoshino. Shigeko enjoyed cooking, during her stay at Overlook She volunteered and helped cook oriental foods.
She is survived by her sons, Robert H. Velez of Pascoag RI, and Raymond H. Velez of Thailand, daughters, Melanie Sweetman of Washington, and Cindy Moore of Lorton VA, and eight grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 10am in the Brown Funeral Home 1496 Victory Hwy. Oakland. Burial will be held privately. Callings hours will be held Friday from 6-8pm.
