Philias A. Bernard, 89, resident of Pascoag, died March 9, 2010 at Pine Grove Health Center.

Philias was an engineer for the Raytheon Co. He was a WWII Air Force veteran.
He is survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Philias Bernard Jr., and sisters, Dorothy Frenette and Agnes Parenteau.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 10am in St. Patrick’s Church in Harrisville. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Pascoag. Calling hours and flowers are omitted. Arrangements are entrusted to the Brown Funeral Home 1496 Victory Hwy. Oakland RI.
