Meet The Staff



Robert G. Brown, Jr
. - President/Director
Bob officially joined the family business in 1972, working with his father Bob Brown, Sr. He then graduated from Burrillville High School and then New England Institute of Anatomy in 1974. He continued working with his father for 24 years until his passing  in 1996. Now president and owner, Bob works mostly in the office and on building/auto maintenance. He and his wife, Kami reside in the Oakland section of Burrillville and spend available time traveling.

John Lalumiere
- Managing Director
John graduated from Woonsocket High School in 1982 and New England Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences in 1985. He passed his National Board and practical exam that same year continued on to his appenticeship at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Homes. He was employed as a funeral director and embalmer in Woonsocket for 18 years. Then, in 1999 he joined Brown Funeral Homes, Inc. and became a part of our family. He and his wife Judi reside over the funeral home on Greenville Road in North Smithfield.

Kelly A. Silvani - Director
Kelly joined the Brown Funeral Home family November 1, 2011, moving to Woonsocket from her home in Michigan. She grew up in Warren, Michigan, later moving to Macomb Township after completing her apprenticeship in Belleville, MI. She graduated from Warren Lincoln High School in 2002 and continued her education at Wayne State University in Detroit, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in the field of Mortuary Science in 2007. Kelly has a daughter, Alyxzandrya, whom is the light of her life.  Although now part of our family, she also has many of her family and friends that form a strong support system back in Michigan. When Kelly is not working, she loves reading, running, roller skating, dancing, watching movies, and spending time with friends.

Elaine D. DiPardo
- Director
Elaine joined the DiPardo family in 1948 when she married her husband Angelo DiPardo. She ran the funeral home with her in-laws Egidio, Theresa and husband Angelo until his death in 1976, when she became the president and owner. In July of 2008, Mrs. DiPardo transferred the business to the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc and still plays a major roll in the day to day operations.
