Albert G. "Punk" Marcoux, 89, of Cumberland, RI passed away on March 21, 2018, at the Overlook Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Pascoag.
He was the loving husband to Doris (Tetu) Marcoux. He was born in Oakland, son of the late Auguste & Oringa (Vanasse) Marcoux.
Albert trained thoroughbred horses for most of his life throughout the east coast. He was a member of the HBBA in Boston. He lived most of his life in Burrillville.
Besides his wife he is survived by his sister, Camille Connell of Pascoag. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Mathias, Laurier and Bertrand Marcoux, Sr. Solange Marcoux, Laure Pepler, Jeanne Lawrence, Jacqueline Auger, Cecile Rainey and Marguerite Robitaille.
His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9am from the Brown Funeral Home, 1496 Victory Hwy., Oakland with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am in Our Lady of Good Help Church, Victory Hwy., Mapleville. Burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Pascoag will be held privately. Calling hours are prior to the Mass from 9-11am.
