I am so sorry to hear of Al's passing. He was a wonderful man and gentleman, indeed. It was a pleasure to know and work with him.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time....may God bless.

my heartfelt sympathy to the Schenck family. Al's beaming personality lit up a room whenever anyone was in his presence. I am sure he is now lighting up heaven as well.

Message from North Smithfield Fire & Rescue Service

The membership of the North Smithfield Fire & Rescue Service extends it deepest condolences on the passing of Alfred. As a charter member of the now defunct Primrose Volunteer Fire Department, he played a major role in the growth and evolution of the now merged Town fire and rescue departments. It is through the volunteered efforts of many men and women of his ilk that the modern day emergency service was founded. We thank you Mr. Schenck for your service to our community and express our sincerest sympathies to his surviving family and friends!
