Amy M. Flowers, passed away on November 17, 2017, at Miriam Hospital. Originally from Nashville, TN, the daughter of Patricia A. (Goodwin) Branca of Cranston and the late James B. Flowers. This adventurous spirit grew up in Cranston, R.I. Amy recently moved to North Providence, R.I. where she was set to begin a new chapter in her life with her loving wife, Jennifer LaPorta - Flowers. Besides her wife, she is survived by her children, Joshua & Jordan Flowers, both of Cranston, stepfather, Louis Branca of Cranston, sister, Shellie Napolitano of Smithfield, brothers, Stacey Flowers and Corey King, both of Cranston. She is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews and her in-laws, whom she adored. Just from talking with her, you would never know of her battle with cancer because she always had a smile on her face. Amy was truly an inspiration for not letting life's hardships keep you down. Her customers at Frank's Auto Top and Upholstery loved her for that smile, dedication, and professionalism. In lieu of flowers, Amy asked that donations be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, she has expressed on many occasions that through out her battle, their staff always made her feel better no matter how she felt. Donations can be sent to P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168 Calling hours will be held Friday from 4-8 PM, in the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd. North Smithfield.
