Arthur A. Lanctot

July 10, 1932 ~ March 27, 2017 (age 84) 84 Years Old


Arthur A. Lanctot, 84, resident of North Smithfield, RI passed away on March 27, 2017, at his residence.

 

He was the loving husband of 65 years to Doris (Lapierre) Lanctot. Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Arthur & Evelina (Morelle) Lanctot.

 

Arthur worked for the Parker Aluminum Co, for 54 years, he lived most of his life in Woonsocket. He was a Army veteran serving during the Korean War, and was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church. He was a member of the Meadows Association and was an avid sports fan and loved the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.

 

Besides his wife he is survived by his children, David Lanctot and his wife Deborah of North Providence and Linda Bentley and her husband Douglas of North Smithfield, grandchildren, Scott Bentley and Amanda Parenteau, great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Jackson and Isabelle and a sister, Claire Larson of Woonsocket,

 

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Lionel, Albert, George, Raymond, Roland, Gerard and Irene Lanctot.

 

His funeral will be held Friday at 9am from the Egidio DiPardo & Sons Funeral Home, 75 Harris Ave., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Park Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham, MA. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 4-7pm.
