Dorothy B. (Ferrier) Dexter

Dorothy B. Dexter, 95, of Pascoag, RI passed away on July 30, 2017, at the Overlook Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Royal J. Dexter. She was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Christopher & Rosealba (Smith) Ferrier. She was a graduate of the Accounting Department at Hill College. Dorothy was a resident of Burrillville since 1992, previously living in North Smithfield. She was a member of the Bradford Court Association. She is survived by a son, David R. Dexter of Harrisville, her daughters, Janet Zagrodny of Lincoln and Linda Auclair of Concord, CA, her sisters, Alice Allard of North Smithfield and Lorraine Ducharme of FL. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her daughter Karen Weiss and her sister Florence Aguiar and her brother George Ferrier.. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 5pm in the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithield. Burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery will be private. Calling hours are prior to the service from 3-5pm.
