Eugene Albert Rioux

Eugene A. Rioux, 72 of Woonsocket, passed away peacefully December 5th at the Landmark Medical Center, in Woonsocket.  Born in Woonsocket he was the son of Bernadette (Jalette) Rioux and the late Eugene Rioux.

He was employed at Avery Dennison in Milford, Ma for 32 years as a machine adjuster before retiring in 1999 due to illness.

Eugene had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. He enjoyed going on cruises and trips to Twin River Casino.  He was also a member of the Parkview Manor Social Club.

Eugene is survived by his loving wife Jeanne of 51 years.  He is also survived by his son, David and his wife Renee, of Woonsocket.  Grandchildren include, Jennifer and Jordyn Rioux of Cumberland and step grandchildren, Victoria, Vianna, Vanessa, and Veronica Andrews all of Woonsocket.  He was also survived by his siblings; brother, Richard Rioux and sister, Suzanne DuCharme, both of Woonsocket. He leaves behind his loving cat Ms. Bella.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Gerard Rioux.

Burial in St. Jean the Baptise Cemetery, Bellingham, will be held privately.
