Gisela M. Twomey

Gisela M. Twomey, 76, of Smithfield, RI passed away on February 19, 2017 at the Heritage Hills Nursing Center in Smithfield.

She was born in Bamberg, Germany, daughter of the late Aloisius & Theres (Heinzl) Haugg.

She worked in local area textiles and jewelry companies. She lived in Pascoag since 1976 and she enjoyed music, her cats, feeding the wild life around her home and was an avid Elvis Presley fan.

She is survived by her two sons, James Twomey of Mapleville and John Twomey of Pascoag and granddaughter, Nicole Twomey. She leaves a sister and 5 brothers in Germany, some still alive and some deceased.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 12pm in the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield. Burial will be private. Calling hours are prior to the service from 10 until 12pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an animal shelter of ones choice.
