Grace G. (Laliberte) (Mochnachi) Plante

Grace (Mochnachi) Plante, 99, of Blackstone, MA and formerly of Manville, RI died on September 22, 2017 at The Friendly Nursing Home in Woonsocket. Wife of the late Theodore D. Mochnacki and the late Paul Plante. She was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Laura (LeBoeuf) Laliberte. She was a secretary for 33 years at the former Auger Furniture Co. of Woonsocket. She served as treasurer for 12 years for the Manville/Albion Golden Agers, was active in PTA of Manville and Mt. St. Charles. She was educated in the Woonsocket Catholic Schools and attended Hill College. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Nancy Ladouceur with whom she lived before moving to The Friendly Home, and her beloved son, Theodore J. Mochnacki and his wife Jeanne of Osterville, MA, 1 sister, Jeannine Foisy of North Smithfield, RI. She also leaves her beloved granddaughter, Laurie Schmitt and her husband Kenneth of Blackstone, beloved grandsons, Michael Ladouceur and Brian Ladouceur, both of Blackstone. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, Hillary Roberge (Doug), Lindsay Schmitt, Kayla Ackley and Michael Ladouceur, Jr. She was the sister of the late Paul, Ronald, Ferdinand, Alphonse and Edgar Laliberte, Claire Lefebvre, Gilberte Plouffe, Germaine Pacheco and her beloved son-in-law Wilfred G. Ladouceur. Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9am from the Egidio DiPardo & Sons Funeral Home, 75 Harris Ave., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am in St. Paul's Church in Blackstone, MA. Burial will follow in St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham, MA. Calling hours are prior to the mass from 9-10am.
