Lucy P. (Rao) Fraits

Lucy Fraits, 91, of Pascoag, RI passed away on December 19, 2017, at the Overlook Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Arthur M. Fraits. She was born in Providence, RI daughter of the late Cosimo & Laura (Regoli) Rao. Lucy was a CNA for the Zambarano Memorial Hospital in Pascoag and the Lakeview Nursing Home, Steere Farm Rd. in Harrisville. She lived most of her life in Burrillville. She was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriot fan. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Hereth, grandchildren, Jeremiah David and Kristina Jackson and great granddaughter, Emily Rose Jackson. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jo-Ann B. Fraits and stepsister, Rita Lima. Her funeral service will be held Friday at 10am in the Community Baptist Church in Pascoag. Burial in Maple Grove Cemetery in Westport, MA will be private. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 9-10am in the church. Arrangements are entrusted to the Brown Funeral Home, 1496 Victory Hwy., Oakland, RI.
