Normand A. Lachapelle

Website Obituary Normand A. Lachapelle, 91, of Smithfield, RI passed away September 21, 2017, at the Oakland Grove Health Center in Woonsocket. He was the husband of the late Georgianna (Rinaldi) Lachapelle. He was born in Manville, RI a son of the late Joseph & Cora (Descheneaux) Lachapelle. Normand worked for the United States Postal Division in Providence, he also worked for the Woonsocket School System as a custodian and the Stop & Shop Supermarket in North Smithfield. He served in the US Air Force during World War II, Korea and Vietnam. He is survived by his daughter, Celeste Lachapelle of Smithfield with whom he lived. He was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. Funeral Services and burial in St. Charles Cemetery, in Blackstone, MA will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to the Egidio DiPardo & Sons Funeral Home, 75 Harris Ave., Woonsocket.
