Raymond R. Cloutier, 77, of Pascoag, RI passed away on March 16, 2018, at the Miriam Hospital in Providence.
He was the husband of Sandra (Lepine) Cloutier. He was born in Woonsocket, son of the late Wilbrod & Beatrice (Lebel) Cloutier.
Raymond worked for General Motors for 20 years. Following retirement, he was a school bus driver for the town of Burrillville, and drove senior transportation for the Village at Waterman Lake and Cortland Place. He was a resident of Burrillville since 1990, previously residing in Blackstone, MA. Raymond was a devoted New England Patriots fan and avid gardener. He served as chairman for the Zoning Board in Burrillville and was the former President of the Pascoag Upper Dam Association and Courthouse Lane Association. He was also an associate of the URI Water Shed Program.
Besides his wife he is survived by 4 children, Patti Cloutier of Cumberland, Cindy Maxwell and her husband Farris of Scituate, Cathy Cloutier of New York City and William Cloutier and his wife Heather of Columbus, OH. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Kendell Sorensen, Jessica Cloutier and Miles & Peyton Maxwell.
He was preceded in death by his brother Richard Cloutier.
A Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 3pm in the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 1-3pm. Burial will be private.
