Karen DeStefano Obituary
Karen A. DeStefano, 79, of North Smithfield, RI passed away on February 18, 2024. Born in Blackstone, MA, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Helen (Messier) Haynes. She was the loving wife of John DeStefano.
Karen worked as a Corporate Bank Accountant for Bank of America retiring after 30+ years of service.
She enjoyed boating, traveling, gardening, reading and shopping. Karen was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Besides her husband John, she is survived by her sons; John DeStefano, III and his wife Margaret, James DeStefano and his wife Wendy, her daughter, Dina Andersen and her husband Kris. Also, five grandchildren; James, Adam and Nicole DeStefano, Nicholas and Alyssa Andersen.
She also leaves behind her sister, Barbara Badeau.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Dennis and Ronald Haynes.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield.
Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, February 24, 2024, from 4:00 PM- 6:00 PM, with a Funeral Service immediately following at 6:00 PM. Burial will be private.
