Carol A. (Wood) Rheaume

Carol A. Rheaume, 73, of North Smithfield, RI, passed away September 1, 2019, at Hope Hospice & Palliative Care of RI in Providence surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Lucien Rheaume. Born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Romeo & Agnes (LeClaire) Wood. Carol worked for Dr. Cloutier's medical practice for many years. She was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed taking care of her family. She enjoyed shopping, cooking and her iced coffee. She is survived by her daughter, with whom she lived, Nicole Demers, a stepson, Alan Rheaume and his wife Lisa, grandchildren, Trey Friend and his fiancé Emily Schleicher, Kristen Friend and her fiancé Michael Lupis, Sarah Hill and her husband Alex, Mariayh Blais and her husband Nick and Jason Rheaume, great-grandchildren, Jameson Rameriz, Owen Blais, Hadley Hill, Olivia Blais. Alana Rheaume and Charlotte Hill. She is also survived by her brother Ronald Wood and his wife Sue and Lawrence Wood. She was preceded in death by her stepdaughter, Karen Barry and her late husband, John, also siblings, Sandra Lamoureaux, Richard Wood, Patricia Desrosiers and Michael Lanctot. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 5:30 PM in the Keene- Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield. Burial will be private. Calling hours are prior to the service from 4-5:30 PM.
