Charlene M. (Brousseau) Taschereau

Charlene M. Taschereau, 61, of Cumberland, formerly of Burrillville, passed away on December 10, 2018, after a long illness at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of 40 years to Denis Taschereau they were married on April 21, 1979 on the Island of Crete, Greece . Born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Leopold & Lucienne (Pelletier) Brousseau. Charlene worked for Blue Cross for many years and previously was a CNA for St. Antoine Residence and Overlook Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was also very active with the American Cancer Society. Besides her husband, she is also survived by her children; Alison Burbank, Daniel, Kayleigh and Kevin Taschereau, all of Burrillville, grandchildren; Samia Shakan, Calvin, Aislyn, Maddox Burbank, Jacob and Emily Taschereau, sister; Michelle Marshall and brothers; Roger, Rene and Raymond Brousseau. Her calling hours will be held on Thursday December 20, 2018 from 4-7 pm in the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield. Services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to St. Judes Children Research Hospital.
