Donald A. Morin

Donald A. Morin, 68 of Woonsocket, passed away peacefully at the Landmark Medical Center on November 2, 2017. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son to the late Phillipe and Rita (Bissonette) Morin. He was married to his loving wife Madeleine (Tellier) Morin for 41 years. Donald was a former Disaster Coordinator for the Red Cross, Woonsocket Chapter; a retired Woonsocket Police Reserve and a retired dispatcher for the Millville Police Department. He also retired from the 102nd Air National Guard and also served in different departments of the armed forces. Besides his wife he leaves behind a daughter, Jennifer Morin and a son, Scott Morin, both of Woonsocket. Also, he leaves his granddaughter, Brooke Morin; brother, Russell Morin of Florida and his sister, Linda Chamberland of Lincoln, RI. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 11, at 11 AM, in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, 1409 Park Avenue, Woonsocket, RI. Burial will be held privately in RI Veterans Cemetery. Visitation and flowers is respectfully omitted. Arrangements are entrusted to the Keene- Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Road, North Smithfield, RI.
