Edward P. Allaire

Edward P. Allaire, 86, of West Warwick, RI passed away on April 1, 2017, at the Friendly Home in Woonsocket.

He was the loving husband of 53 years to the late Marilyn (Gilbert) Allaire. He was born in Woonsocket, son of the late Lucien & Pearl (Blair) Allaire.

Edward was a mechanic for the Ford Co., he also worked for the Parks & Recreations department for the city of Woonsocket and worked security for local area businesses. An avid Boston Red Sox fan and enjoyed watching wrestling.

He is survived by his two daughters, Cheryl Palazzo and her husband Stephen of Cranston and Janice Arnold and her husband Al of Lincoln, 4 grandchildren, Ryan and Lauren Ise, Missy Philips and Heath Arnold, 1 great granddaughter, Annalee Philips and two nieces, Margaret Martinelli and Sandra Sansone and her husband Robert. He is also survived by his pet dog Jethro.

His funeral service will be held Thursday at 10:30am in the Egidio DiPardo & Sons Funeral Home, 75 Harris Ave. Woonsocket. Burial with military honors will follow in RI Veteran's Cemetery in Exeter. Calling hours are prior to the service from 9:30-10:30am.
