Eva (Depointe) Heroux

Eva (Depointe) Heroux, 76, of Woonsocket, RI passed away peacefully on October 21, 2018, at her residence. She was born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late George & Theresa (Reilly) Depointe. Eva was director of development for Brown University, the Rhode Island Hospital and Tufts Dental School. She was very instrumental in procuring the funds needed to build the Hasbro Children's Hospital. She was also a member of the People to People organization and the Red Hat Society. She is survived by her daughter Lisa Heroux, grandchildren Tyler and Dylan Young and a sister Sandra Peterson and her husband Henry. A Funeral Service will be held Friday at 11am in the Egidio DiPardo & Sons Funeral Home, 75 Harris Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery in Slatersville. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 5-8pm.
