Helen Detrick Obituary

Helen T. Detrick, 86, of Tuscumbia, AL, formerly of East Stroudsburg, PA, passed away on March 21, 2019. A loving mother and devoted Catholic, Helen was born in Putnam, CT, daughter of the late George Sr. & Rose (Caccaupouti) Keeling, and attended Burriville High School. She is survived by her six children: Lynda Marlow, William Rowand, David Rowand, Theresa Nanius, Carolann Shaffer, and Dorothy Cleaves, 18 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and her sister Dorothy Cook. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Detrick Sr. and her brothers, Thomas Keeling and George Keeling Jr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, August 24 at 10 am in St. Patrick's Church in Harrisville. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Pascoag. Arrangements are entrusted to the Brown Funeral Home 1496 Victory Hwy., Oakland.
