Jacqueline G. "Jackie" Boudreau, 79, of Slatersville, RI passed away peacefully at her residence and neighborhood that she loved while surrounded by her loving family on April 20. 2018. She was the loving wife of 57 years to Gerard "Bud" Boudreau. She was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Domenico & Jeannette (Desrochers) Castaldi. Jackie ran her own accounting and tax practice for 40 years. She also worked for the former Park Square Credit Union where she held the title of CEO The credit union then changed it's name to Credit Union Central Falls and then to Navigant Credit Union from where she retired from holding the title vice president of head of compliance. Jackie was incredibly hard working, driven and successful woman and was evident in every aspect of her life. But what made her so special was that she made it her life's mission to pass this success forward and see that others were given the tools that allowed them to be equally successful. Her ability to be a mentor and positive influence touched so many people through the years. She was a past recipient of the distinguished Lillian Miller Award given for outstanding volunteer leadership. Jackie was instrumental in establishing the Arc Angel Memorial in loving memory of her daughter Donna Lynn. This memorial honors deceased members of the Arc of Northern RI who served in leadership positions, were active parents, volunteers, as well as all persons with developmental disability who were supported in one or more of the Arc's many programs. This memorial is still displayed and maintained at 80 Fabien St., Woonsocket, which is an Adult Developmental Disabilities Center now owned and operated by Seven Hills Foundation of RI. She was also a long time donor and supportive member of the Moran-Ventre Charitable Foundation since 1986. Especially noteworthy was her sponsorship of golfers with special needs in the foundation's 29 annual golf tournaments.
