Leonard Hareter Obituary

Leonard A. Hareter, 75, passed away on April 11, 2018 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center. He was the husband of Anita (Lussier) Hareter. Born in Dubuque, IA. He was the son of the late Leonard M. and Helen (Rusch) Hareter. Len was an accountant and worked for Jannels, KB Laminate and Pilgrim Screw. He lived most of his life in Manville and Woonsocket. He enjoyed sports, watching WWII movies and was a member of the Jimmy Ray chapter 818 of the VVA. He is survived by his daughters, Cheri Hareter and Dawn Roux and husband Jeff, siblings, Charles Hareter, Michael Hareter and Anne Robitaille, 2 granddaughters Anissa Lamar and Emily Roux, 1 great granddaughter, Mia and nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday April 28th at 9am in St. James Church, Manville. Burial with military honors will be held privately in RI Veterans Cemetery in Exeter. Calling hours will be held Friday from 4-8pm in the Egidio DiPardo & Sons Funeral Home, 75 Harris Ave. in Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: VVA, Jimmy Ray, Chapter 818, Woonsocket, RI 02895-0818.
