Brissette, Nelson R, age 92, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on September 8, at The VA Medical Center, Providence. Born in Woonsocket on May 14, 1927, he was the son of the late Raoul Brissette and Corona Heroux.

He composed his own music, and created many recordings with his son. He enjoyed playing cribbage with his daughter, science and astronomy and watching boxing. Above all, he loved spending time with his family.
Nel was always quick to flash a smile, give a witty remark, or try to fool his family with his trickery. He will be greatly missed.
