Rita M. (Frayne) Mitchell

Rita M. Mitchell, 97, of North Smithfield, RI passed away on May 27, 2018, at the Landmark Medical Center with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Francis Mitchell for 41 years. She was born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Thomas & Elizabeth (Jervis) Frayne. Rita was a resident of North Smithfield. Previously she lived in Woonsocket where she lived most of her life. She was a loving homemaker who enjoyed cooking and reading. She is survived by her children Donna Lemieux and her husband Edward, and Deborah Mitchell all of North Smithfield, sister in law Margie Mitchell of Cumberland, nephew Robert Frayne of California and her cat Misty. She was the last of nine children. Funeral Services and Burial in St. Charles Cemetery, were held privately. Arrangements are entrusted to the Egidio DiPardo & Sons Funeral Home, 75 Harris Ave., Woonsocket.
