Robert J. “Bob” Leveillee, 72 of Harrisville, passed away at home after a long battle with cancer with his loving family by his side. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Camille and Irene (Forest) Leveillee and husband of 51 years to Patricia (Laliberte) Leveillee.
Robert was a volunteer firefighter for the Harrisville Fire Department, for many years and retired from the Burrillville Police Department as maintenance superintendent. Always quick witted and the best provider of comic relief to everyone he encountered, he will be genuinely missed and cherished by all those who were loved and the recipients of those lighthearted gestures.
Besides his loving wife Patricia, he is survived and cherished by his son, Robert S. Leveillee; daughter, Michelle McDonald and her husband, Joseph, of Cumberland; grandchildren, Sean and Maggie McDonald, both of Cumberland and Reneé Leveillee, of CT. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Ashley Leveillee.
Robert’s funeral will be held on Friday, December 6, 2019, at 8:45 AM, from the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Road, North Smithfield with a Funeral Mass at 10 AM in Our Lady Of Good Help Church, 1063 Victory Highway, Mapleville. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8PM inside the funeral home. Burial will be held privately.
