Rosemarie C. (Benoit) Zarr

Rosemarie C. Zarr, 64, of Millville, MA passed away on September 30, 2018, at the St. Camillus Health Center in Whtinsville, MA surrounded by family and friends. She was the wife of the late Thomas Zarr. She was born in Woonsocket, RI a daughter of the late Alfred & Theresa (Cadieux) Benoit. Rosemarie worked as a manager for the Sears Department Store in Woonsocket for 20 years. She was a Millville resident for many years, previously living in Woonsocket. She spent many happy summers camping at Echo Lake Campground in Pascoag, RI. She was a loving and devoted mother to her daughters, Lynn Marshall and her husband Brian Marshall of Whtinsville, MA and Jennifer LaRose of Cumberland, RI. 4 grandchildren, stepchildren Thomas Zarr, Jr. and Tammie Zarr, brothers Arthur, Alfred and Robert Benoit, stepbrothers, Dennis and David LaRose, stepsister, Elaine Wethey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her stepmother Muriel Benoit, stepbrothers Robert and Richard LaRose, stepson Robert Zarr and stepsister Celia Wart. Her funeral will be held Friday at 10am from the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Augustine's Church in Millville, MA. Burial will follow in St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham, MA. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Camillus Health Center 447 Hill St. Whitinsville, Ma 01588 The family ask that in honor of Rosemarie’s fight against Alzheimer’s and for those still fighting, that you wear something purple.
