Therese Lemoine

Therese "Tessie" A. (Courtemanche) Lemoine, 97, a 10-year East Windsor, CT resident and a longtime resident of Woonsocket, RI, entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 16, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, CT, with her family by her side. She was born on October 11, 1919 in St. Jude, Quebec, Canada, a daughter of the late Joseph and Alice (Bergeron) Courtemanche.
Therese was a "Lunch Lady" for various schools throughout Woonsocket. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church in Woonsocket and St. Elizabeth Parish in Ludlow, MA.
Therese is survived by her three children, Andre J. Lemoine and his wife Jackie of Mapleville, RI, Gerard J. Lemoine and his wife Vivian of Palominas, AZ, and Denise H. Grondin and her husband Normand of Springfield, MA; six grandchildren, Brian, Anna, Peter, Lise-Anne, Steven, and Jackie; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members. She was predeceased by her husband, Fernand A. Lemoine in November 2003; three brothers, Gerard, Jean Paul, and Jude Courtemanche; and five sisters, Annette Rippett, Cecile Descheneaux, Sr. Mary Jude, PM and Gabrielle and Marie Ange Courtemanche.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 23rd beginning at 9AM from the EGIDIO DiPARDO & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 75 Harris Ave., with a Liturgy of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10AM in Holy Family Church, 414 South Main St., both in Woonsocket, RI. Rites of Committal and burial will follow in St. Jean the Baptist Cemetery, 314 Wrentham Rd., Bellingham, MA. Therese's family will receive relatives and friends at the visiting hours on Thursday, June 22nd from 4-7PM at the EGIDIO DiPARDO & SONS FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Therese's memory to Touch Point @ Chestnut Recreation Department, 171 Main St., East Windsor, CT 06088. The Ahearn Funeral Home of Northampton, MA is entrusted with Therese's funeral arrangements.
