Alan Lee Bardsley, 81, of North Smithfield, RI, passed away on May 5, 2020 at the Woonsocket Health Center. He was the loving husband of 62 years of Judith Ann (Williams) Bardsley. Born on August 28, 1938 in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Ernest J. & Ruth I. (Drummond) Bardsley. He was a business manager & treasurer for the Foster-Glocestor School District for 25 years. A graduate of West High School in Pawtucket, he attended Bryant College, earning his degree in accounting. He also attended Johnson & Wales University, earning his master of science degree in computer education. He was a commander in the local, district and National levels of Royal Rangers program thru the Assembly of God Church. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Woonsocket. Alan was a instructor for the Pawtucket Red Cross. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict serving from 1957 to 1960. Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, James Robert Alan Bardsley of Franklin, TN, a brother, Richard E. Bardsley and his wife Maureen of Orlando, FL, a sister, Janet R. (Bardsley) Facente and her husband Raymond of Lincoln, RI. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren. Funeral services and burial in Highland Memorial Park will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield.
