Alice M. (Racine) Taillon

Alice M (Racine) Taillon, born February 12, 1922, in Pascoag, RI passed into eternal peace on September 21, 2023 in Pascoag at the age of 101.  She was a daughter of the late Andrew C. and Olive (Vanasse) Racine. Alice was a lifelong resident of Burrillville.  

She spent her early years working on the family farm in Pascoag before working for Polytop Plastics in Slatersville from where she retired.  

Alice was the wife of Leo Taillon who preceded her in death.  They made their home in Oakland, RI until she moved to Bayberry Commons in 2013. 

Alice was also predeceased by her bothers, Andrew, Wallace, Henry, Napoleon, Theophile, Francis, and Roderick and sisters, Olive Demarse, Helen Morin and Esther St. Pierre. 

Alice is survived by many nieces and nephews. 

A memorial service will be held on October 7, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Brown Funeral Home, 1496 Victory Highway, Oakland, RI with burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Harrisville, RI.
