Arthur O. Harnois, of Lincoln, RI passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2023, after a short illness at the age of 86. Born in Providence, RI, son of the late Arthur O. Harnois, Sr. and Isabelle (Gagnon) Harnois. Brother of Roger Harnois of Westerly, RI and the late Donald Harnois. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 64 years, Catherine (Casey) Harnois, his son David Harnois and wife Susan of Scottsdale, AZ, daughter Cheryl Juliano and husband Jay of Prospect, CT and son Mark Harnois and wife Suzanne of Scottsdale, AZ, 6 grandchildren, Brian, Megan, Melissa, Emily, Kristina, and Kelsey. And 8 great grandchildren, Rhiannon, Rebecca, Rylan, Colin, River, Rumour, Lily, and Alessia.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, friend, coach, mentor, and volunteer. Interests included sports, gardening, and he is best remembered as a jack of all trades.
A 1956 graduate of La Salle Academy. An Air Force staff sergeant for 6 years with time served in Germany during the Berlin Wall Crisis.
A 37-year employee at AT&T, retiring in 1989. Management training program participant, earning an MBA degree from Pace University. A second 17-year career as a teacher/mentor at Diman Regional Voc-Tech High School in Fall River, MA.
Visiting hours on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, from 8:30 - 10:00 AM a thet Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Road,N. Smithfield, RI followed by an 11 AM Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist Church, 63 Church Street, Slatersville, RI. Internment at St. Patrick’s Chapel/Cemetery, Emerson Road, Burrillville, RI.
