Arthur "Bud" Jones Sr.

Arthur "Bud" Jones, 89, of Burrillville, RI passed away Monday, December 19, 2022. He was the husband of 65 years to Wand E. (Wozna) Jones.  He was the son of the late Joseph and Mildred (Tucker) Jones.

He lived in Burrillville for most of his life. He worked for the former Tupperware Co. for 10 years,

He was a self-employed plumber for over 50 years, in Northern RI. He was also the plumbing inspector for the Town of Burrillville for 45 years. He was also a United Stated Army Veteran having served in the Korean Conflict.

He was a one-of-a-kind man having had a very strong work ethic and would never say no to someone that needed a hand. He enjoyed watching sports, going for long rides to blueberry picking and getting ice cream. His way of relaxing was to mow the lawn.

He leaves behind four sons, Arthur Jr., Michael, James, and Steven along with one daughter, Donna and son-in-law, David Leduc.  Six grandchildren, Rachel, Jared, Jeffrey and Faith Jones, Devin Leduc and Ashley Durand. Five great-grandchildren, Eliza and Abigal Wood, Lincoln and Carver Durand and Lylah Jones and one great-great-grandchild,Kelton (KJ) Letour, Jr.

He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Janice Baldwin of AZ., Judith Guglielmo of Cranston, RI., Vivian Ciamaga of CA. Donald Jones of Coventry, RI, and Thomas Jones of West Warwick, RI.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Phyllis Jones, Gerald Jones, Connie Church of TX and Dorothy Curwick of CA.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Brown Funeral Home, 1496 Victory Hwy., Oakland, RI. Service details have been respectfully omitted.
