Audrey M. (Medbery) Masso

Audrey M Masso, 89, of East Providence, RI and Melbourne Beach, Florida, passed away surrounded by her family at Hope Hospice Care in Providence on April 3rd, 2023. Born in Mapleville, RI, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Byrne) Medbery and the loving wife of the late Pasco Masso

For much of her life Audrey was a homesteader in the truest sense of the word. She grew and preserved her own fruits and vegetables and was well known for her bread baking. She and her family raised animals for many years in Foster, RI where she was a 4-H leader. Audrey served on several boards including the Board of Directors for the NRI Extension Service.

She is survived by her children, John (Apopka, FL), Shelly (Syracuse, NY) and Rick (E. Prov, RI) , grandchildren, Jessica, Kayla, Brittany, Amanda, Ryan, Rick Jr, Kelsey, William, Michael, Angelo and  Tyrone and 6 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her sisters, Dorothy Brown of Orlando, FL and Kathleen Leveille of Harrisville, RI as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Marjorie and brothers, George and Terry.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Brown Funeral Home, 1496 Victory Hwy,, Oakland, RI. A Celebration of Life service will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date. Burial will be in Ancient Little Neck Cemetery, Riverside, RI.
