Barry R. Johnston, 64, of North Smithfield, RI, passed away on October 22, 2020, at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. He was the loving husband of Megan (Tenenbaum) Johnston. Born in Seaford, DE, a son of the late Cleburn & Gail (Melvin) Johnston. Barry was a stay-at-home dad raising his two children. He was a huge baseball fan and trivia enthusiast. He lived in Rhode Island since 2000 previously living in Rehoboth, DE for 30 years. Besides his wife, he is survived by his two children, Jessica Bourquard and Trevor Johnston, a brother, Jeff Johnston and many of his loving family members in Delaware and also his cats and dogs. Services and burial will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Hope Hospice Center, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
