Beatrice M. (Picard) Plante

Beatrice M. Plante, 102, of Woonsocket, RI passed away on June 9, 2018, at the Friendly Home. She was the wife of the late Emile Plante, she was born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Henry & Georgianna (Cormier) Picard. She worked for the former Sadwin's Curtain Co. She was a life long Woonsocket resident and she enjoyed dancing and singing at the Elk's Lodge. She is survived by her children, Gerard "Tiny" Plante and Lucille Plante both of Woonsocket, grandchildren, Eric & Nicholas Plante, great granddaughter, Skylar Plante and a brother Henry Picard. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Eva Dufrense, Bertha Pace, Noella Beaudet and Edmund Picard. Her funeral will be held Thursday at 8am from the Egidio DiPardo & Sons Funeral Home, 75 Harris Ave., Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Park Ave., Woonsocket. Burial in St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham, MA will be held privately. Calling hours are prior to the Mass from 8-9:30am.
