Carol Ann (Rook) Disautell, 79, of Harrisville, RI died January, 13, 2021 at home peacefully.
She was predeceased by her husband Eugene Disautell whom she was married to for 53 years.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the only child of the late Dorothea Rook Jarosz and stepdaughter of the late Theodore Jarosz. She was a descendant of the Buklin Family, who were the first settler’s in Pawtucket.
Carol lived in North Smithfield for 38 years before moving to Harrisville.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Dawn Lee Disautell.
She leaves behind her two sons, Dale and Dwayne of Harrisville, and Terri (Dawn) Desmaris, (self-adopted daughter), her 2 grandsons, Joshua Saucier of California and Joseph Saucier of Florida and 2 self-adopted grandchildren, Brayden and Kyandra, great-grandchildren, Mason Saucier 14, Vanessa Sherril 11, Zachary Saucier 11, Elle May Saucier 8 and Aubrey Saucier 5, Dejaleigh Haworth 14 and Davonte Haworth 12.
Ms. Disautell was a long-time member of the First Assembly of God Church in Woonsocket. She spent most of her life in Human Services, working with the elderly, the developmentally delayed, and abused children as a foster parent.
She was an Independent Consultant with Fashion 220 for over 50 years.
She was a peddler with the Country Peddlers and Company of America and a member of the Red Hat Society.
Burial will be private at Swan Point Cemetery, Blackstone Blvd., Providence. Arrangements are entrusted to the Keene- Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd,. North Smithfield.
