Obituary
Celeste G. Blanchard (Proulx) 106 of Palm Harbor, formerly of Oakland RI. passed away on May 10, 2022 at SunCoast Hospice. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Louise (Tatro) Proulx. She was the loving wife of the late Raymond Blanchard.
Celeste worked for many years in the Oakland Mills, and as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Zambarano Hospital prior to her retirement.
She loved taking shopping trips, horse races, and traveling.
She is survived by her three children Russell Blanchard of Milton FL., Ann Galluccio of Palm Harbor FL., and Janice Henton of Detroit MI, six grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
She also leaves behind her sister Janet and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings Russell, Rita, and Gerald.
Calling hours will be held May 17, 2022, from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at the Brown Funeral Home 1496 Victory Hwy. Oakland, RI. Funeral Service at 11:00 AM following calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Good Help Church, Mapleville at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow at the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery in Exeter, RI.
