Cheryl A. (Trinque) Gilmour

Cheryl A. (Trinque) Gilmour, 68, of Cumberland, RI passed away peacefully on September 17, 2025, at Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket surrounded by her loving family. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of Donald and Joan (Young) Trinque.

Ms. Gilmour dedicated over 30 years of service to the Zambarano Memorial Hospital in Pascoag, beginning her career in the kitchen at age 16 and later serving as Activities Coordinator until her retirement. She was also a member of the Mill Church in Millbury, MA.

She found joy in sewing, puzzles, bingo, and board games, with a particular fondness for Monopoly.

In addition to her parents, Donald and Joan, Cheryl is survived by her children, Rebecca Martin and her husband Ronald, Scott Gilmour and his wife Cathleen; as well as four grandchildren: Briana and Ashley Martin, Farrah and Granville Gilmour. She is also survived by her siblings, Babara Sharpe, William Trinque, Donna Ducharme, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, 1496 Victory Hwy, Oakland, RI. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with a Prayer Service immediately following at 7:00 PM.
