Cheryl Lynn (Ryan) Tessier, 69, died October 19, 2025 in Lincoln, RI after a long illness,
She was the wife of the late Paul Tessier of Woonsocket.
Her greatest joy was Larry, Jr, her little shit. Her greatest pleasure in life was in her contribution to his upbringing making him into a smart, funny, loving husband and father.
She was fiercely protective of those she loved.
I would also like to recognize her friend Sonia Robledo, our west coast “sister” and good friend. She helped us both through some very difficult times and she is greatly appreciated.
She is survived by her sister, JoAnn Sullivan and husband Ralph, her stepson, Larry Cavasso, Jr. and wife Alyson as well as her two grandchildren, Larry Cavasso, Sr. of Altura,s CA as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John & Beatrice (Savoie) Ryan, her sisters, Patricia Gurka and Susan Valeriani and both paternal and maternal grandparents.
"Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear.
Arrangements are under the care of the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd,. North Smithfield.
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her honor to local animal shelters and senior centers.
