Doris A. (Cournoyer) Belanger

Doris A. Belanger, 94, of Harrisville. RI passed away at home, surrounded by her loving family, on September 29, 2020. She was the wife of the late Rene Belanger and the late Arthur Paquette. She was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Joseph & Antoinette (Brouillard) Cournoyer. Doris worked in local area textiles retiring from the former CD Byrnes Co. in N. Smithfield She enjoyed spending time with her loving children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Jeanne Savoie and Nancy Stewart both of Harrisville and Donald Paquette and his wife Francine of FL, grandchildren, Kim Ward and her husband David of Pascoag, Cindy Savoie of Woonsocket, Danny Dulac of Philadelphia, Jason Churchill and his wife Marisol of Westborough, MA, Donald Paquette, Jr. and his wife Saifon of Florida, Nicky Frederick and her husband Ryan of Florida and Justin Paquette of FL. Also her great-grandchildren, Kayla Ward of Maine, Noah Dulac of Philadelphia, Brett Ward of Pascoag, Adrianna and Jaxson Churchill of Westborough, MA, Tien Frederick, Etheo Paquette Jr., Oliver Paquette and Amber Lynn Bois, sisters, Lorraine DeMaire of Cumberland and Lorette Auclair of Manville. She is also survived by her extended grandchildren and great grandchildren of the Belanger family. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Rita Brodeur and Robert Cournoyer. Funeral Services and burial will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to the Brown Funeral Home in Oakland, RI.
