Doris M. (Marquis) Charrette

Doris M. Charrette, of Woonsocket, RI passed away peacefully on August 22, 2023, with her family by her side. She was married to Normand J. Charrette, who passed away in 2007. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Marie Ange  (Barrette) Marquis.

She was a realtor for 50 years with Marquis-Charrette Realty and excelled and took pride in her job. She was a graduate of St. Claire High School and attended Hill College. She was a member of the Northern Rhode Island Board of Realtors, Quota International and Holy Family Ladies Guild.  

She is survived by her six children, Denise Thibault, Marc Charrette, Carol Horne and her husband Russell, Monique Charrette-Weakley and her husband Blake, Dennis Charrette and companion Patricia Egan, and Leo Charrette and his wife Joyce.

She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Allison, Kate, Jeffrey, Kerri, and Stacey. Also her great-grandchildren, Christopher, Wesley, Zoe, and Scarlett.  

She was preceded in death by her sister, Aurore Dufresne.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Egidio DiPardo and Son’s Funeral Home, 75 Harris Ave., Woonsocket.

Calling hours will be held in the funeral home on Friday,  August 25, 2023, from 8 – 9:30 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Church,  414 South Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery,  Bellingham, MA.
