Dorothy Ann (Dellatore) Sousa

Dorothy A. Sousa, 72, of Mapleville, RI, passed away on January 24, 2020, at Roger Williams Hospital in Providence after a brief illness.

She was the wife of the late Joseph G. Sousa III. Born in East Providence, daughter of the late Francis & Eva Dellatore.

Dorothy worked for Foxwoods for 14 years. She enjoyed cooking, especially on Sunday's for her loving family dinners. Her life was being a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Dean Sousa, Kelly Gonsalves and Kevin Sousa; Grandchildren, Brandi, Jennifer and Joseph Sousa and Stephanie, Tiphanie and Savannah Gonsalves; Great grandchildren, Aiyana and Andrew and her siblings, Priscilla Laferrriere and Richard Dellatore.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Joan Maccarone and Robert and Donna Dellatore.

A visitation will be held Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 2-4 PM in the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd. North Smithfield. Services and burial will be private.
