Edgar Oliveira, Jr.

Edgar Oliveira, Jr., of Woonsocket, RI, passed away on March 29, 2026, at the Oakland Grove Health Center in Woonsocket. He was born in Pawtucket, RI, son of the late Edgar, Sr. & Domingas Oliveira. He was the loving husband to Mary (Eagan) Oliveira. Edgar worked for the Teknor Apex company and was also a caretaker for his sister for many years. Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, Bryan Oliveira, siblings, John Oliveira and his wife Kathy, Frankie Oliveira, Beatrice O’Dell, Oliver Oliveira and Beverly Oliveira. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Patricia Eagan and her companion Dennis Charrette, brother-in-law, Thomas Eagan and his wife Sara and their children Matthew and Brooke Eagan and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Dulce Holske, Yvonne O’ Shea and Judy Oliveira. His funeral will be held Wednesday April 8, 2026, at 9 AM from the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Holy Trinity Parish Church, Park Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be Tuesday, April 7, 2026, from 4 until 7 PM at the funeral home.
