Edward J Hochwarter

Edward J Hochwarter, Jr. 76, of Burrillville passed away April 2, 2021. He was the loving husband of the late Margaret M. (Walker) Hochwater. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Edward and Madelyn Hochwarter.

Edward was a US Air Force Veteran who proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. 

He was a bus driver and supervisor for RIPTA. After retiring from RIPTA, he drove bus for Academy, Archway and Coach USA. 

He was a member of the former Jesse Roamer Bike Club.  Edward enjoyed spending winters at his home in Florida. 

He is survived by his daughter, Lynn Thurber and her husband Joe, his siblings, John and Paul Hochwarter and his grandchildren, Ryan, Morgan and Nathan.

Arrangement are entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, 1496 Victory Hwy., Oakland, RI.

A Celebration of Life for Edward will be held at a later date. Burial will be private.
