Ernest A. Holmberg, Jr.

Ernest A. Holmberg, Jr., 75, of Woonsocket, RI passed away on June 12, 2026, at the Oakland Grove Health Center in Woonsocket, RI. He was the son of the late Ernest Sr., & Blanche (Thomas) Holmberg. He was the loving husband to the late Evelyn Holmberg. Ernest proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict for two years as an airman security guard. He is survived by a niece and many friends from where he lived. He was preceded in death by his brother, Andrew Holmberg and sister, Phyllis Cavaliere. Military honors will be held Friday, June 19, 2026, at 12:00 PM at the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield, RI. Committal prayers and burial will follow at St. Charles Cemetery in Backstone, MA.
