George Marsh, 58, of Burrillville, passed away peacefully at Rhode Island Hospital with his family by his side. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of Edward and Madine (Jacobs) Marsh, Sr. He is survived by his beloved wife, Brenda (Marx) Marsh.
George worked many years in the construction industry and was also employed at the PolyTop Corp. in Nasonville. He found great enjoyment in fishing, hiking, yard work and visiting the ocean.
In addition to his wife, Brenda, George is survived by his siblings; Judith Bates, Linda Szocik, Robert Thatcher, Carol Neri and Edward Marsh, Jr. as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his siblings; Nelson and Donald Marsh, Connie (Marsh) Lee, Joyce (Marsh) Boss, Audrey (Thatcher) Berthiaume and Chester Thatcher.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of Brown Funeral Home, 1496 Victory Hwy, Oakland.
Memorial Service will be held at the New Hope Baptist Church, 65 South Main St., Pascoag, RI on October 29, 2025 at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of George to the National Audubon Society.
